October is right around the corner and that means another Cybersecurity Awareness Month is here.
Since 2004, the United States and Congress have recognized October as Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the National Cybersecurity Alliance have introduced the "Secure Our World" campaign, which highlights 4 simple steps you can take to protect yourself, your family and your business from online threats.
In support of NCSAM, the Schneider Downs Cybersecurity team is releasing a new article series focused on industry-specific cyber threats based on the 2023 Verizon DBIR Report. The articles are available to view on our dedicated Cybersecurity Awareness Month webpage or at the links below:
Additionally, our team is highlighting some of our most popular security awareness materials and thought leadership of the past year, outlined below.
So, what actually occurs after a ransomware attack happens? Find out in the replay of our popular “Inside a Ransomware Attack" webinar and learn about the real-world experience of a large-scale ransomware attack that threatened global business operations.
We often focus on network security at the office, but how secure is your home network? Learn how to “layer” controls and maintain strong defensive security measures at home to protect your data from digital intruders.
TikTok is one of the most popular apps out there, but also one of the most controversial. Learn more about the data TikTok users share, with whom the information is shared and why the platform is considered to be such a high security risk.
We encourage you to share this article or any of our cybersecurity resources with your network. You can find additional cybersecurity resources and articles on our Cybersecurity Resource Library.
If you have any questions about our security awareness materials or cybersecurity solutions, please reach out to our team at [email protected].
